Tony Jacobsen is the author of Disable Your Disability and an expert when it comes to speaking on the topic of disability awareness.
Tony was born with a physical disability called Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) is a genetic bone disorder characterized by fragile bones that break easily. It is also known as “brittle bone disease.” The term literally means “bone that is imperfectly made from the beginning of life.” A person is born with this disorder and is affected throughout his or her lifetime.

As an author and public speaker, Tony focuses on how society at large can look at disability differently and learn to be aware and accept people with disabilities. On the flip side, Tony also takes a stand to speak to people with disabilities on how they can work to view disabilities differently as well as how to make the necessary adjustments to bring disability to the forefront of conversation within society–from micro to macro situations. No matter the audience, Tony speaks about embracing disabilities!
Tony is available for speaking engagements (corporate, school, conferences, seminars, etc.) as well as interviews for television, radio, and podcasts.
